OS2 Apartment, Tel Aviv-Jaffa, 2024
Size: 110 sqm
Materials: Natural wood, bright colored wood, natural stone, and resin.
This marks my second project with this family, as our collaboration began with designing their first apartment in a nearby building several years ago, when they were a young couple. Now we reconnected for a new project, corresponding to the new chapter in their lives as a family with two daughters.
The unique property is positioned facing the breathtaking view of the Yarkon River, and we immediately understood that this vista must be the true star of the home. We chose a soft and bright color palette that allows the view outward to take center stage, creating an aesthetic that will stand the test of time.
The concept that guided us was creating a sense of a permanent vacation home – a place that combines comfort and homeliness with feelings of freedom and tranquility. We wanted to create an environment that the residents would simply never want to leave.
The entire design is based on natural materials and custom carpentry, which together create an elegant, functional, and inviting space. The apartment reflects the clients' own evolution – a more mature and precise design, appropriately adapted to their new family lifestyle, while maintaining the direct connection to the nature that surrounds the home.
